Pastor
 Brother Dan grew up on a cattle farm in north Alabama. He still carries the values of hard work and responsibility that was instilled in his life. He was saved at the age of 13, and surrendered to the call to preach at the age of 19. Through his years of ministry, God has given Brother Dan a servant's heart. Before coming to Opelika with his family to plant Abundant Life Baptist Church, he served four years as Assistant Pastor of Greater Life Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia. It was there that God took him through a course in learning how to plant churches and preach wherever the opportunity arose. He was able to start a ministry in the local youth detention center where many teenagers came to know Christ. He is a graduate of Auburn University, and currently teaches High School Geometry at Opelika High School. It has been through teaching school that God has given Brother Dan a heart for teenagers. His years spent at Auburn University also gave him a heart to help college students live for God. He has been blessed with an incredible wife named Lisa, and three wonderful children named Clayton, Avery, and Bailey. God has called Brother Dan and his family to plant a Bible believing Baptist church in Opelika, Alabama. We thank God for our Pastor.
